Green Country Stone is a natural stone quarry located in Eastern Oklahoma. We currently supply stone to yards in 31 states across the U.S. We offer a wide variety of materials including Building Stones, Patio Stones & Landscape Stones.
GCS started in 1990 with 1 Quarry, and we’ve been growing ever since. We now quarry out of 5 different locations which produce a large variety of stones available in many different colors, textures, shapes, and sizes. Our Rock Island Quarry is a large producer of “Hackett” material.
GCS is a wholesale company that sells to stone yards. We don’t offer exclusives, but we do our best to protect our customers. If our stone is represented on a yard in your area, we will guide you in the direction of who you need to contact to get the materials you are looking for. If there is not a yard in your area that carries our products, we will make every effort to help you get the stone you need.

Green Country Stone, Inc. was founded in 1990 by Robert Thompson. With over 25 years of experience in the stone industry, Robert is able to give our customers the knowledgeable insight needed for any building project.
Gail has been with the company since 1998. Growing up at a rock quarry, Gail has been exposed to the stone business her entire life. Gail’s management experience ensures our customers will receive the best quality material in the least amount of time. In looking forward to retirement, Gail has passed on her knowledge and experience to our younger and very efficient office staff.
Julio got his start in the stone industry at an early age. With 11 years of experience with us, Julio uses his knowledge of our stone to guide our customers in the right direction for each and every job. He can answer any question you may have and provide you with excellent customer service. Julio, along with his brother Cesar, manages the day to day operations of our quarry to ensure that we always have the best possible stone for your project.
Cesar also started his career in the stone industry at an early age. He worked for several years in the thin veneer industry and he has brought the knowledge that he gained to Green Country Stone. Cesar now manages our thin veneer saw shop along with assisting in the day to day operations of our quarry.
April has 20 years of various administrative experience and 10 years of experience in different aspects of the stone industry including the thin veneer industry. She uses the knowledge that she has gained over the years to help Julio and Cesar with any project that they are involved in and also to keep our office running efficiently.
